MAINCHARACTERS

• Michael Dillon, he’s the manager of a hotel in Northern Ireland. The IRA wants to bomb the hotel and therefor they use his car. This action makes Michael have to choose between people’s life. It also frightens him when the IRA threatens him with dead.
• Moira Dillon, she’s Michael’s wife. She’s always concerned with how she looks and what people think of her. She’s got bulimia. After the event with the IRA she wants to stand up to the IRA by telling her story to the newspapers and on television.
• Andrea Baxter, she’s Michael’s new girlfriend. She’s the opposite of Moira, she doesn’t care about her looks and wants a new safe life for Michael en her in London.

SETTING

The story is mainly set in Belfast and the last chapters in London.

The story is about choosing. Michael’s being put in a situation in which he has to make really hard choises.
