Phileas Fogg was an exact man. He didn't have a wife. He had one servant in his house. He was a Frenchman, his name was Passepartout.
At half past eleven, Phileas Fogg walked to the Reform Club. If he was at the Reform Club, he read the newspapers, his friends arrived later. One of his friends was important in the Bank of England. There had a robber steals fifty-five thousand pounds. The man said: “We will soon find him, the world is a small place.” Stuart said: “The world isn’t very small. We can go round it now in three months…” Phileas Fogg said: “In eighty days only.” Stuart said: “That cannot in the practice.” Fogg said: “I can do it.” They bet it for twenty thousand pounds.
Fogg starts his journey at a quarter to nine in the evening. He went to Dover by train. He went to Paris, then to Turin and he reached Suez at October 9th. A letter reached London from Suez: “Phileas Fogg is the bank robber. Send a warrant to arrest Fogg. Fix, Detective.” In Suez Fix talked with Passepartout about this journey. They leaved Suez by ship. The name of this ship is ‘Mongolia’. It began its journey to Bombay. It was in Bombay at October 20th. Fix went to the Bombay police There was no warrant from London. Passepartout walked through Bombay. Then he reached a temple and went inside. People must not wear shoes in the temple, but Passepartout did’nt take off his shoes. If he went inside, three priests pulled his shoes off. He leaved the temple without his shoes.
They leaved Bombay by train and go to Calcutta. Fifteen miles from Rothal a man walked through the train and called out: “You must get out here! The line end here.” Fogg said: “Today is only October 23rd. A ship leaves Calcutta on October 25th. I think we can reach Calcutta before that.” Passepartout said: “I’ve found an Indian with an elephant!” They buy the elephant for two thousand pounds. They went in the direction of Calcutta. During the journey, they could hear a soft sound through the trees. It was a procession. There was a car with a stone figure on it. Some men were pulling a girl with them. Some men were carrying a dead body behind her. They will kill the girl, her...

bedankt voor de samenvatting!
hij is supergoed hoop dat ik er een goed cijfer mee haal!
onze docent geeft elke 2 weken boekjestoets dat is ziek!
door deze dingen kan ik makkelijk goede cijfers halen.
