Conrad is the youngest of the two sons of Calvin and Beth Jarrett, but the eldest son, Buck, died in an accident. Conrad wanted to kill himself, but ended up in the hospital. The book goes about how he deals with the fact he has to get back in the society again and his brother is still not there. - Who is the main character? Describe him. Does he change, how?
Conrad is the main character, but his father also, the chapters are from both point of views. Conrad is an insecure boy of 17 years old, in the book he becomes 18. He wants to have everything under control, but ofcourse that isn’t possible, and he only blames himself for that. He does change, he is seeing a psychatrist, and he changes him a lot. He teaches him to trust in himself, to believe things can go wrong and it isn’t always his fault. At the end Conrad believes that also, and he becomes a lot more peacefull. - Explain the title as fully as you can.
Ordinary People; they were ordinary people, until the accident, then there changes a lot. Beth wants to keep them as ordinary people, she doesn’t want anyone to know about her family. After Conrad gets more better they become a bit ordinary again. - Is there an episode in...
