Opinion:
In my opinion this is really a wonderfull book, which I can
really recomend to everyone. I know that sounds strange, but... it
is really true!


Summary:


He (the "I" person) is in the neighbourhood where he lived
in the past. Often he was there in Joe Bells bar, he likes the
apartment where he had lived and there was a women Joe
and he both loved, her name is Holly. He goes to Joe's bar
and there is also Mr. I.Y. Yunioshi he is an old friend and
neighbour. They talk a lot and they are wondering where
Holly is. Mr. Yunioshi has made a world tour.


He told about two years ago
In the night Holly was often awake and sometimes she
visited mans or mans visited her. He admired Holly and he
observed her from the outside trough her window. Slowly
observing was going over to visiting. When he would visit
her there was a man she hated, he is drunk. But Holly liked
him because he looks like her brother. She gave him also
his name: Fred. An other night they were in his house. They
talked about their lives and about the books and story's he
had written. Sometimes he was a bit embarrassed and then
there were long silences. He liked kids because they has no
troubles and such beautiful clothes. She told him about Sally
(a friend of her) and she suggest to make a story about him.
He had to think about it. She lay beside him and gave a
hand but when he asked why she is crying she stood up and
she told him she hate snoops. He began to think about her
and he concluded she was a bit strange.
She had scribbled a letter for him that she wouldn't bother
him again in the night but of course he wrote back "please
do". She asked him to come at 6 o'clock but when he
came, there was a man in her room. They talked about
Holly and the man said she's crazy and she will blow your
mind when you try to make her better. The man told him
she is an outsider. Holly had told to the man to let every
body in who knocks on the door. There came a big crowd
with strange mans. He thought old friends and went away.
Later that night they where alone with the man who told him
she is crazy. She told him she is stressed and has sometimes
fear. He suggested her to drink or smoke some soft drugs
to relax. She had been in Mexico with a friend and now she
would have a normal life with a man, she said Rusty is a
good friend of her. An other woman came in she's very ugly
and the man offered her a drink. Her name is Mag and
"Fred" brought her to a bus later that evening. The next day
he heard her talking she didn't see him and she said he is
very stupid.
He went to Holly and show her a published story there are
some problems around that. They decided to make a
promenade in the park and talk about the past because
Holly is interested. On the return they stole a mask he
wouldn't do that but she persuaded him. But when he had
done it he liked it. Mag and Jose (a friend of her) were in
Holly's house. Holly had stolen a cage for Mag but she
disliked it because it is for an animal and that is pitiful. Mag,
Jose, Holly and Rusty went on holiday but when they came
back there was a quarrel between Holly and Rusty about
love.
"Fred" was followed by a man after a quarter the...
